A French date written with its month in letters, as a deed, a civil-status record or a medical report writes it: a day from 1er to 31, the month, a four-digit year from 1800 to 2099. A date of birth is a direct identifier that a NER model does not tag, and on its own this pattern cannot tell it from the date of the document, so it hides both. Capitals are matched, the no-break spaces of French typography too. A date spelt out in words (le douze mars) is not, nor the date of a legal text numbered before it (loi n° 89-462 du 6 juillet 1989), which designates no one.
